Original performing style, fiery artistry and unrestrained temperament – this is how Uzhgorod audience saw young Argentinean conductor of Italian descent Ramiro Arista.
The world press calls him passionate and energetic, capable of "animating music". The conductor is considered one of the best among his contemporaries. His professional career is striking: within about 15 years, the musician has worked with various collectives from Romania, Chile, Venezuela, Guatemala, Moldova, Bolivia, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Russia, Ukraine – in total with 70 orchestras in 14 countries on 3 continents. In his work, Ramiro Arista combines European traditions, Balkan folklore and passionate Latin-American rhythms.
His previous collaborations with the symphony orchestra of the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic (conductor – Honored Artist of Ukraine Victoria Svalyavchik-Tsanko) resulted in two excellent concert programs – "Viva Latina" and "Libertango". In this concert, in addition to P. Tchaikovsky’s music, they will perform "Conga of the New Fire" by Arturo Marquez, "The Andean Dawn" by Daniel Alomia Robles, "Malambo" from the ballet "Estancia" by Alberto Ginastera, Suite "Aquarela Andinna" by Carlos Ortega Salinas, "Kumparsita" by Gerardo Matos Rodriguez, "Brazil" by Ary Barroso, "Mambo Popuri" by Damaso Perez Prado and others pieces.
