On March 12, 2020 (Thursday) at 6:30 pm, the Transcarpathian Regional Philharmonic invites to the concert program "Music of my heart" presented by the People’s Artist of Ukraine, Professor of Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music of Ukraine, brilliant pianist and just fantastic woman – Lyudmila Martsevich.
The concert program features works by JS Bach, F. Schubert, L. Revutsky, V. Kosenko, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninov.
Host – musicologist Natalia Pitsur.
Background: Lyudmila Martsevich was educated at the Odessa State Conservatory named after AV Nezhdanova (class of professors M. Starkova, E. Vaulin, L. Ginzburg) and graduate school of the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after PI Tchaikovsky (class of professors Y. Zak (Moscow) and V. Sechkin (Kyiv). L. Martsevich began concert activity in 1963 after winning the MV Lysenko International Music Competition (1st Prize). The repertoire of Ludmila Martsevich includes the most complex works of classical heritage, romanticism era, contemporary authors. In 1982 Lyudmila Martsevich was granted the honorary title of the Honored Artist of Ukraine, in 1994 – People’s Artist of Ukraine.
