On October 9, in the village of Cherna in Vynogradiv district, there was a gastronomic festival "Cherna nachanka." And before that, the festival "Novoselytsia dishes" took place in the village of Novoselytsia of the same district. And this Sunday, October 16, at 14.00, the festival "Hyzha cuisine, customs, fun and play" starts near the House of Culture in the village of Khyzha. There will be a concert, an exhibition of craftsmen’s products and folk dishes. And also, sports games and lottery, where you will be able to win a TV, wood and wheat.
According to the head of the tourism and cross-border cooperation department of Vynogradiv District State Administration Valentina Hornetski, the three festivals in the three villages of the district are not accidental. In this way, the villages want to pay homage to the traditional dish, which is cooked only in those three villages (Cherna, Khyzha, Novoselytsia). It is the nachanka which is an essential attribute of all celebrations, especially weddings.
The main ingredients of the dish are corn flour, eggs and sour cream.
