The traditional, yet the 7th "Uzhhorodska Palachinta" ("Uzhhorod Pancake") festival will be held in the Bozdosh park, Uzhhorod on 13-14 February. It is going to include a charitable part again. Funds will be collected for Transcarpathian soldiers who are defending the Eastern frontier.
"By tradition, our event will take place in the Bozdosh park. In addition, the "Uzhhorodska Palachinta" will coincide with Valinte’s Day. Thus, we’ll have a programme dedicated to Saint Valentine’s Day together with the main topic that is the pancakes. We’re working on the speciality of the festival of this year. We’re always trying to introduce something new and interesting. This year, a new partner has joined us. It is one of the fitness-centres. Thus, we’ll have a fitness-menu as well. They will work in the direction of healthy living. We’re also planning a lot of fascinating attractions. This year, we also would like to introduce a popular attraction known as "karaoke". It will take place in the evening, beneath the night sky. By tradition, we are going to burn the ‘spirit of winter’. Also by tradition, the volunteers of the Movement for supporting Transcarpathian soldiers will also join us periodically. They will also have their animations, especially attractions. They will bake pancakes and raise funds for the Transcarpathian soldiers. Dear citizens and guests of Uzhhorod! We welcome you to the Bozdosh park from morning till evening, on 13-14 February. There will be a lot of pancakes and hot tea. And not only", – says Volodymyr Bilonka, the organiser of the event.
