Collapse on Kyivska embankment: the State Architecture and Construction Control ordered the developer to take measures

Yesterday, in Uzhgorod, at Kyivska embankment, 4, a wall of an old building collapsed.

Construction works are being carried out nearby, and while digging a pit, the foundation and a wall of this building were damaged.

According to the employees of the Department of State Architecture and Construction Control of Uzhgorod City Council, they ordered the developer and the contractor to:

– urgently strengthen the walls of the foundation pit;

– stop further construction work;

– demolish the wall of the old building ensuring safety of workers.
