Cleaning yourself. Uzhgorod citizens invite to a public cleaning campaign

"Clean our city from dirt and our thoughts from negativity. Everything starts with us!"

Active Uzhgorod residents, who are tired of all the garbage in the city, are calling to public cleaning. They say: "We will be glad to see everyone, who will support us and come to our aid."

The initiator of the campaign "The breathing Uzhgorod" Angelina Trushevska listed the following locations: the Botanical Garden, the passage near the cinema "Uzhgorod", the territory next to the Regional Music and Drama Theater.

Videos recorded by the girl during the walk are very telling: there is a lot of garbage and everyone seems to be indifferent to this. But no – not everyone. So, the indifferent people invite to take care about the garbage in Uzhgorod and, obviously, to draw the attention of the people responsible for the state of affairs in the city to the problem of the waste management in Uzhgorod.

The initiator emphasizes: "We should stop blaming others for everything we don’t like. Every day and every second we make choices and we can change everything. Provided we do it on our own, and not look for someone else to do it for us." The girl invites to the "Clean Friday" and suggests to bring rubber gloves and garbage bags.

The gathering is on Friday, 27.07.2018, in the passage near the cinema "Uzhgorod" at 7 am.
