From 6 to 11 of November, the week of Ukrainian cinema will be held in Uránia Nemzeti Filmszínház in Budapest. The event will be held under the auspices of the Embassy of Hungary in Ukraine. The festival is timed to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the portal MyHungary.Net informs.
Ukrainian cinema will be represented by outstanding works of contemporary movies – "Turtle Dove’s Nest" 2016, which was recently presented in Uzhgorod and movies from earlier period, classic of the genre – "White Bird with Black Mark" 1972. The audience will be able to see a documentary trailer that won Oscar "Ukrainian Sheriffs."
Entrance to the festival is free. The films will be screened in original language with subtitles in Hungarian.
In turn, the festival of contemporary Hungarian cinema will take place in Ukraine from 3 to 7 of November. It will feature the films: "Swing", "Liza, a rókatündér", "1", "Megdönteni Hajnal Tímeát", "SOS Love! The Million Dollar Contract".
