Classical piano duo “Duo Petrof” will perform in Uzhgorod

Duo Petrof was recognized by the Society of Mexican Music in the United States as the best classical ensemble of 2016. They are well known in America, Europe and Asia for their virtuoso playing. 
Anatoly Zatin and Vlada Vasilyeva founded the ensemble in 2003 and since then they have been touring constantly, surprising and bewitching listeners with their original, polished and successful performances. 
The duo has performed in Carnegie Weill Hall and Merkin Concert Hall in New York, Royce Hall in Los Angeles, at the first international festival of arts in Kyrgyzstan and at international music festivals in Italy, Bulgaria, USA, Russia and Mexico. 
DUO PETROF’s latest record titled ”88×2 Music for Two Pianos" (Columna Musica, 2015) won silver medal at the Global Music Awards 2015 and bronze medal at the Prestige Music Awards 2016. 
Their famous version of El Jarabe Tapatio for two pianos was nominated for Hollywood Music in Media Awards in 2016. 
Their concert in Dallas, Texas (USA) was included to the list of the best concerts in 2011 by the journal Theater Jones. Vlada Vasilyeva and Anatoly Zatin teach at the University of Colima in Mexico. 

The concert will take place on December 29, at 19:00, in the Art Center "ILKO Gallery"
