City residents are protesting at the session of Uzhgorod City Council

The regular session of the Uzhgorod City Council is taking place along with protests of citizens.

This time, residents of the ACMH "Kerchenske-Uzhgorod" demanded to consider the issue of the sale of premises in the building where children’s clubs used to be situated. Also, representatives of the ACMH “Ungvarsky” insist on impelementation of the project, which won the contest of Public Initiatives in 2016.

The mayor promised not to sell the children’s premises and to build a playground in 2020.

At the meeting, they heard the report of the head of the local prosecutor’s office and considered almost 90 issues on the agenda. Those included the approval of a number of programs of various spheres of city life, property and land issues.
