City government does not want to say who gave the permission to build the swimming pool because of which the 16-year old girl died

Because of 16-year old girl’s death, uzhgorod.in decided to ask those in Uzhgorod city council who issues permits for the work of such attraction, who outlines the areas of bathing and recreational areas near the water, who controls their operation and records violations and consequently who has the same responsibility as owners of the pools.

We turned in a telephone conversation with such questions to Hanna Semeniuk, a trainee of Information Technologies and Communications Department of Uzhgorod city council. Firstly, we were promised that information will be given to us in the afternoon, but later when we called and asked the similar questions they told us that we can apply only in an official manner. But such kind of information request takes 10-30 days.
