The first cherry blossom can already be seen in Uzhgorod. The trees of Japanese cherries are growing here and obviously they feel quite well since they are among the first trees to bloom in the city. Pink fluffy flowers indicate that the most wanted time for Uzhgorod citizens is coming – Days of sakura bloom.
The city government announces the Uzhgorod Sakura holiday. It will last about two weeks during which a lot of events will take place. One of the symbols of Uzhgorod – cherry blossom – is celebrated in different parts of the city, especially, of course, in the centers of flowering.
