Cigarettes under the paneling in a truck turned out to be a bad hideaway place for smuggling through the Transcarpathian Customs
Today, a citizen of Ukraine driving a truck Renault to Romania arrived at the checkpoint "Dyakovo" of the Transcarpathian Customs
Taking into account the results of the risk analysis, the customs officers decided to carry out an in-depth inspection of the truck, after asking the Ukrainian whether he was transporting any goods and items prohibited or restricted for export from the customs territory of Ukraine and hidden from customs control.
"The citizen said that he was carrying nothing of the above and committing no illegal actions.

During the in-depth customs inspection, in the driver’s cabin, as well as in the cavities under the paneling of the side wall of the cabin, they found 560 packs of cigarettes JIN LING without excise stamps," – the Transcarpathian Customs informs.
These actions contain signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. Based on Article 511 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, under the report on violation of customs rules, the cigarettes and the car were seized. The total value of the confiscated items are being established.
