On December 28, the traditional "Christmas exhibition" of works by Transcarpathian members of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine was presented in the "Uzhgorod" gallery.
The winter vernissage, which traditionally concludes the year in the activity of the largest artistic community of the region, once again brought together artists from different creative generations and different genres of art.
Uzhgorod residents and guest will be able to visit the "Christmas exhibition" until January 14. The gallery will be open every day except Monday, from 11.00 to 17.00 (Saturday and Sunday – until 15.00).
During the opening ceremony, the head of the regional organization of the National of Union of Artists, People’s Artist of Ukraine Boris Kuzma said that 2016 was a very eventful year (celebration of the 125th anniversaries of A.Erdelyi and Y.Bokshay and the 70th anniversary of the organization, exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, granting the title of "People’s Artist" to three members of the organization and the title of "Honored Artist" – to another three).
