Snow has already delighted us a few days before Christmas. And now, there will be frost. Acccording to the deputy head of the Transcarpathian Regional Center of Hydrometeorology Inna Bulak, this is due to the fact that there is a large cold cyclone now above Polish Warsaw, and an anticyclone centered over the UK.
So on the territory of Europe, and therefore here, the inflow of Arctic cold air is expected. It will occur right on Christmas.
On 6 – 9 of January, frosts are expected throughout the region. In low-lying areas – 16 – 18 C, on 8 – 9 of January – up to 20 C, in the mountains – up to 25 C below zero at night, and during the day – from 5 to 8 C below zero (8 – 9 of January), in the mountains – up to 15 C below zero.
Mrs. Bulak says that on 8 – 9 January it will snow a little. And then, the weather will be stabilized: it will be overcast, the temperature will increase. Transcarpathian forecasters predict 2 – 3 C below zero at night, up to +3 C during the day.
