Chop crook promised Transcarpathians to make them Hungarian passports and disappeared after receiving the deposit

Mukachevo police started criminal proceedings on charges of receiving money for issuance of non-existent documents

Five people, including residents of Mukachevo city and district, became the victims of the fraudulent conduct of a 34-year-old resident of the city of Chop in Uzhgorod district. The woman promised to make Hungarian passports for a remuneration of more than one thousand of dollars. Having received deposits of $ 300 from all her customers, the woman disappeared from the victims’ sight. The victims then reported it to Mukachevo police.

The police identified and found the suspect. Investigator of Mukachevo Police Department registered all the cases in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations and started criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
