Chop border guard detachment has a new head

The chief of the Western regional office of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Major-General Volodymyr Yegorov introduced the new commander to the staff of the Chop border guard detachment. According to the order of the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Chop border guard detachment shall be headed by Lieutenant Colonel Serhiy Bilyavets.

To note:

Lt. Col. Serhiy Bilyavets was born on March 18, 1978, in Khmelnytsky. In 2001 he graduated from the National Academy of Border Troops of Ukraine. His officer’s career began in Kotovsk border guard detachment. Later, he served in various capacities at Southern Regional Office, Eastern Regional Office and the National Academy of State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
