February 27, near one of the houses in the village of Chomonyn in Mukachevo district, inside a car "Hyundai", the police detained its owner – the head of the village, 4th category 7th rank civil servant – for bribe taking.
The official demanded and received from a private entrepreneur, resident of the village of Dorobratovo in Irshava district, a bribe in the amount of $ 500 for renting land plots for placing advertising billboards in the village of Chomonyn.
The village head was detained and placed in Uzhgorod temporary detention facility.
