Public Network "OPORA" has failed to provide today the details of their parallel vote count, as was announced earlier. The reason is ddos attacks on the "OPORA" site server.
The coordinator of the NGO "OPORA" in the Transcarpathian region Sviatoslav Babilya reported this at the press center "Transcarpathia".
"We have announced that "OPORA" would present result of the quick statistical count throughout Ukraine. We have this system used more than once. But, unfortunately, we will not be able to do that today – Sviatoslav said. – On Sunday, all day long our server was under powerful ddos attacks, which made it impossible to work. We hope to eliminate this problem by evening. We know that the attack was from outside Ukraine. About 40 computers which attacked our website are in China and Korea. The purpose of the attack is to neutralize "OPORA." This is on the one hand says that we have worked and had the result, on the other hand – that they are afraid of us."
Also Sviatoslav said that the counting process is fairly calm and this suggests that frauds during the voting and counting were not widespread. The representative of the "OPORA" once more reminded that the most common violations were bribery of voters, as evidenced by such facts as the removal of ballots, transportation of voters to polling stations, taking pictures of ballots and more.
