On Tuesday, an exhibition of works by pupils of the creative children’s and youth association "Small Luver" and the children’s art school from Volodymyr-Volynsky of Volyn region opened in the Hungarian Consulate General in Uzhgorod. It was crowded, because the children came with their parents and grandparents, their teachers, diplomats, and journalists.
It started with the official part, which was opened by the 1st Deputy General Consul of Hungary in Uzhgorod, Laszlo Kuti. He remarked: "We are happy that we have a children’s exhibition, because until now the foyer of our institution has served as a platform for eminent artists."
The curator of the exhibition, chairman of the Charitable Fund "Art Union Today" Yuriy Dik emphasized: "The idea of the exhibition is that the future belongs to the children. It will determine what the relations with neighbors will be, how future generations will live." He noted that our government officials should pay more attention to children’s art: to provide halls for expositions, make museums of their art, so that we could see their world. The exhibition shows it is colorful and interesting.
