Child died in Uzhgorod private swimming pool

16-year-old girl H. was killed by the current in the inflatable swimming pool of Uzhgorod restaurant ‘Venetsia’.

The tragedy occurred approximately at 6 p.m. today. According to witnesses, two children struck by current from the pump that inject water from the river into the pool. One girl died, the other received minor burns.

‘Uzhgorod Prosecutor’s Office solves issue in order to the art. 97 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. According to this article, it is checked whether there is reason for instituting of criminal proceedings – informs the press office of Transcarpathian region Prosecutor’s Office.
