Changes at the checkpoint “Uzhgorod”

During the repair work, the accumulation of vehicles at the checkpoint is expected to increase.

 According to the press service of the Chop border guard detachment, in connection with the reconstruction on the territory of Slovakia, starting from June 1, 2019, buses at the car checkpoint "Vysne Nemecke" will be directed to the cargo terminal. There will be no change in the procedure of processing of vehicles at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod".

In view of the above, we suggest travelers to increase the time reserve for border crossing or to use other checkpoints for travel.

The repair work will last approximately until October 2019.
