Chamber choir Cantus also joined the program of celebration of the European Museum Night

Recall that Uzhgorod will join the worldwide campaign "Night at the Museum," which runs from 21 to 22 of May, for the first time.

The Exaudi is a mystery performed through the music that was written in different centuries. Oddly enough, the dialogue of different eras – the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the 20th century – does not cause a feeling of stylistic dissonance, on the contrary it is perceived in natural harmony as a single artistic phenomenon. This is how relations of eras manifest themselves through sacred music based on Gregorian chant, which originated in the early Middle Ages, and during the twentieth century was reinterpreted as a brilliant artistic achievements in the works of such prominent composers as Stravinsky, Messiaen, Poulenc, Pärt and Schnittke.
