Celebrations on the occasion demobilization took place at the Chop border guard detachment

On March 25, 2016, the President of Ukraine signed a decree №115 / 2016 "On the discharge of military personnel drafted in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine of July 21, 2014 №607 and during the first stage of partial mobilization in accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine №15 of January 14, 2015."

Yesterday, the celebration to honor the soldiers to be discharged took place at the Chop border guard detachment. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chief of the West Regional Department Colonel Kostyantin Bezpalko and the personnel of the border guard detachment.

Thus, 170 soldiers called up during the 4th wave of mobilization, were standing in the formation during the celebrations. 20 officers and 150 soldiers, NCOs and privates responsibly performed their tasks. The time spent in the Chop border guard detachment was for them not only the test of the ability to work in unusual conditions, but also a new experience. Also, many of the soldiers served in the area of the ​​anti-terrorist operation.

During the event, the border guards were awarded with diplomas, letters of gratitude. Today, the best of them will receive certificates of completion of the service and go home to their families. 12 soldiers expressed a desire to continue serving in the border guard department and 9 of them have signed contracts to extend the service.
