CEC does not allow Ledyda to run in the election in Uzhgorod

The post on the official website of the Central Electoral Commission refers, in particular, to the refusal to register 8 candidates for people’s deputies of Ukraine. One of them is the former governor of Transcarpathia Oleksandr Ledyda (the constituency №68: the city of Uzhgorod, Uzhgorod district, Chop).

"The Commission refused to register 8 candidates for people’s deputies of Ukraine, namely: Pylypenko AA – the constituency number 27, Varyvoda VY and Shevchenko YS- the constituency number 66, Ledyda OO – the constituency number 68, Kucherenko VM – the constituency number 94, Hranitny YS – the constituency number 152, Stasiuk NI – the constituency number 155, Tsihotsky LS – the constituency number 192 for the early election of the People’s Deputies of Ukraine due to lack of documents referred to in Article 55 of the election law," – the message reads.
