This place in the historic part of the city is also called Kiss Street and Uzhgorod residents like this charming corner.

"I have always loved them very much, hence the attention. Now they are definitely better than they used to be. But I promised to talk about defficiencies. Two days after the opening, I see that some of the defficiencies, I wanted to write about, have been eliminated. The debris have been removed. The places for benches are ready and the beches will definitely be installed. Hopefully, good and durable.
But the lamps are horrible. They are all inclined in different direction. Like some tipsy men. The cable between lamps is overhead. It not only looks bad, but it is also easy to reach. It’s just a matter of time when it is torn. It should have been laid underground – it’s a safer and more aesthetic way. I hope they will fix it. Because you cannot leave it like that.
They say that there will be handrails too – I hope so, because they will save people from bone fractures in the winter.
And last but not least: some idiot has already spilled paint on the stairs…"
