Autumn on the Synevyr Lake is beautiful. Tourists, who have chosen this time of the year for vacation, can see it themselves.
Synevyr is the largest lake of natural origin in the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is located between mountains, at an altitude of 989 meters above sea level in the northern part of the National Nature Park "Synevyr".
The Synevyr Lake is recognized as a wetland of international importance (Ramsar Convention) and is one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine. It was formed about 10-11 thousand years ago, as a result of the powerful shift of indigenous sandstones that broke off the southern slope of the Krasna Mountain and blocked the ancient valley of the Synevyr stream.
The Synevyr Lake is a real gem of the Carpathians; its poetic name is Sea Eye. From high above, it really resembles an eye. The island in the middle is like a pupil of the eye, and long fir tree branches are like eyelashes.
There is a motel, a restaurant, a playground there. Equestrian tourism is also successfully developing.
We invite everyone, who wants to see this natural beauty, feel the unique energy of the mountains, experience a romantic trip, to visit the Synevyr Lake in the autumn! Guests are always welcomed there, – the National Nature Park "Synevyr" informs and shares the beautiful picture.
