On September 27, the XII Strongmen Tournament "Carpathian bear" will take place in Uzhgorod. This year’s competition is timed to the opening of the monument to our most famous strongman Ivan "Croton" Firtsak, it will take place at Mynaiska st., 16 at 13:00.
The tournament itself will begin at 14:00.
Both veterans Ivan Grigorovsky, Serhiy Oleolenko and new generation Oleksiy Maltsev, Volodymyr Tsyfra, Ivan Derkach will compete for the title in seven traditional strongmen events. Our athletes will be joined by Oleg Pylypyak from Lviv, whose brother Orest managed to win at the last year’s tournament.
