Cantus will present a concert in Uzhgorod to mark the 96th anniversary of the famous composer Istvan Marton

Concert "Istvan Marton. A New Look" will be held on November 29 in Uzhgorod in the Transcarpathian Regional Art Museum.  

 To a large extent, the music of this concert is "Unknown Marton". The scores, which were kept in the composer’s family archive, were written at the request of the leaders of the choirs, but they have never been performed and no one had any idea of their existence. They will also perform the works of Istvan Marton composed without the hope that those scores would ever be performed or printed.  However, the concert program of the academic chamber choir "Cantus" also includes widely known works of the composer, mainly interpretation of folk songs, which were released during the life of the composer and are included in the repertoire of various groups.
