On his page, Oleg Grigoriev shares the information and tells about the campaign. Here is what the statement reads:
"Friends, I can’t stop admiring you!
During the two days of the charity campaign, you and the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers donated more than 22,000 UAH. And instead of planned trips to two psychoneurological care homes and 300 presents, we visited as many as 7 institutions in three days and gave 1,038 gift packages. Even after the two announced fundraising days, we kept receiving your donations. Your response to our request exceeded all expectations.
Your contribution to this important cause helped to make a real holiday for people with disabilities that are hidden from the society in care home. And they are not just hidden – they are forgotten by the society. Every day, they are behind the double barrier of life, separated from everything familiar to us, immersed in the only thing that is accessible to them – their deep inner world. But your contributions made them feel important, that they have not been forgotten. Therefore, I give these photos to you. To share these emothions with you, to show you how much warmth there was on those days. The warmth that you created! Even ordinary bananas made people excited. Some of the patients saw them for the first time.
Perhaps, over time, you will forget about your donations, but the patients will remember these moments as some of the happiest ones. Before this, the phrase "If you help one person you help the whole world" seemed corny to me, but now I’m starting to believe in it again.
Thank you. Thanks."
