You think the sakura flowering season in Transcarpathia is over? In fact, it is still going on, at least, in one of its district centers. Rakhiv has joined other sakura cities.
There are not that many sakura trees there, just a few dozen, but, walking on the streets of the city, you’re bound to come across a Japanese cherry, they are planted everywhere – from the central square to the private sector.
It’s just incredible: to see magnificent pink flowers up close and the Carpathian mountains in the background. Probably, the Japanese feel the same emotions looking at the sakura trees flowering against the Fuji mountain.
So: if you haven’t caught sakura flowering this year, hurry to Rakhiv district!
