Cadets will be guarding the border in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Cadets of the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine have arrived to the Mukachevo and Chop border guard detachments. 

This was reported by the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

Students of the border guard academy will be engaged in counteracting illegal activities on the border. After briefing on the situation on the respective border sections, the cadets were assigned to units with the most difficult situation. During two days, the future officers will be learning the specifics of the border crossing and the protection of the state bordes in river, mountain and plain terrains. After that, the Academy cadets will be carrying out the service in border patrols. These measures will significantly increase the tightness of the state border protection and block the ways of the possible transportation of smuggled goods, while the students will have the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.
