By the end of the year, 82 routes of Ukrposhta’s mobile offices will launched in Transcarpathia

In Transcarpathia, there are 504 villages with a population of under 2,000 inhabitants, where a total of 350,000 inhabitants are living. In general, in Ukraine, there are more than 26,000 such villages and more than 10 million of their inhabitants do not have access to such necessary establishments as pharmacies, banks, home appliance stores, etc. For example, over the last 4 years, the network of banks has shrunk by 36.2%. During 2019, the number of pharmacies and drugstores decreased by almost a thousand units and as of January 2020 slightly less than 20,000 pharmacy outlets were registered in Ukraine (in villages and urban-type settlements – 26% or 5,200 outlets).
