Recently, a number of campaigns aimed at cleaning the city from trash took place in Uzhgorod. Both political and civic organizations, volunteers and Uzhgorod residents contributed to this movement. Also, conscious entrepreneurs did not stay aside the event.
In particular, on Leo Tolstoy street, the management of the furniture salon decided not just to clean the surrounding area, but also to improve it. Thus, they planted decorative bushes and flowers there. In total, they planted about twenty arbovitae and more than a hundred flowers.
"If every entrepreneur does something similar at least in front of the building where they work or do their business, then tourists will be coming to Uzhgorod to see not only the sakuras but also flowerbeds" – Volodymyr Komarnitsky said in a conversation. This event was sponsored by the Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko.
