Bus Kyiv-Hust slid into the river from the 8 meters height (photo)

January 23 at 08:55, the operational center of the Territorial Directorate of MOE in Transcarpathian region was reported that on the road stretch Dolyna-Kust near the village of Berezovo in Khust district, the driver of a public double-decker "Volvo" bus taking the route Kyiv-Khust lost control and went down into the Rika river from the 8 meters height.

According to preliminary data, at the time of the accident in the cabin there were 6 passengers and 2 drivers. Four passengers were delivered to the Khust central hospital. Two victims are in serious condition and the other two were diagnosed with moderate polytrauma.

MOE officers of the State Fire and Rescue Station number 10 and divers of the Emergency and Rescue unit of TD of MOE in Transcarpathian region are working at the scene. Rescuers helped transporting the victims to ambulance vehicles. Now they are taking measures to tow the bus on the roadway.
Detailed circumstances of the case are being investigated.
