The state of emergency in Hungary is likely to continue for another week. According to Ukrinform, flood waters will pass through Budapest not sooner than in 7-8 days, which means that the water level in the Danube will fall only on 17-18 of June. The draft decision on the extension of the state of emergency is to be considered by the National Assembly of Hungary on Monday.
Currently, the highest flood in the Danube is approaching the heart of the Hungarian capital, where its level reached 888 cm, and can rise on Monday to 895 cm, which 35 cm more than the record figure in 2006.
