A piece of the sword once again was broke off of the monument to known Hungarian Sandor Petofi. A correspondent of Uzhgorod.in captured the already damaged bronze monument yesterday, but who knows how long ago vandals did it.
Recall that this is not the first time we record damaging of the monument to the Hungarian poet, publicist and public figure, which was set in 1990 in the park on S.Petofi Sq. in Uzhgorod. In 2011, they doused it with white paint, tore out the flowers around it, and broke the fence. The incident with the broken sword is nothing new too.
Unfortunately, those, who do it, are rarely punished,..
