Breeder Henrich Straton presented two new varieties of kiwi (PHOTOS)

Breeder Henrich Straton harvested the first fruits of new kiwi species this year and announced a new plant variety – the Carpathian Stratona Aurum. 
The name is tentative. The most special feature is their color – saturated orange flesh of the fruit; each species has different shape and taste properties. Both "newcomers" are also frost-resistant, just like the main variety of Henrich – "Kiwi Carpathian Stratona".  
For more than 20 years, Henrich, a biologist, has been engaged in the cultivation of a frost-resistant variety of kiwi "Carpathian Straton". The breeder specializes in growing seedlings, which are already popular not only throughout Ukraine, but also far abroad.
