Branded perfumes were confiscated to the warehouse of the Transcarpathian customs (PHOTOS)

Yesterday (11.08.20), following the seized car parts and expensive wines and champagne on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, Transcarpathian customs officers found undeclared branded perfumes, which were being smuggled to Ukraine.
The violator was a 38-year-old resident of Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytsky region, who, returning from Spain in a Volkswagen minibus with a trailer, declared only used items during the customs control at the customs post "Tisa" of the Transcarpathian customs of the State Customs Service. He assured the customs officers that he did not have any goods that were subject to mandatory declaration with payment of customs duties.
But, after unloading of all things from the minibus, the inspectors found in two cardboard boxes among personal belongings undeclared foreign-made beauty products – perfumed water in 50 and 100 ml bottles by MONEGAL ("AGAR MUSK", "COTTON MUSK", "OLE", "IMPOSIBLE IRIS", "FLAMENCO", "BRAVO") in total amount of 99 pcs. The driver immediately recognized them as personal property. The estimated cost of these perfumes on the Internet ranges from 5 to 10 thousand hryvnias.
Therefore, a report on violation of customs rules under Article 472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine was drawn up against the man. The found perfumes were confiscated because they were subject to mandatory declaration and taxation. The cost of the perfumes will determined by an expert
