Border guards were offered a bribe

Yesterday our countryman tried to solve the problem at the border with a bribe. Returning from Slovakia, he intended to persuade the personnel of the checkpoint "Maly Berezny" to assist him in crossing the border without obstructions.
The offender tried to transport in his car to the territory of Ukraine a batch of foodstuffs. Presenting the passport, he put 300 UAH in it.
Of course, the border guards refused the offer and reported the incident to the upper management.
In order to clarify the circumstances and make a legal decision on possible signs of a crime under Article 369 of the Criminal Code "Offer, promise or giving of an undue benefit to an official", the border guards informed the Uzhgorod police department about the incident. Upon completion of the relevant procedural activities, customs officers sent the offender back to Slovakia.
