The hidden 1650 packs of Ukrainian cigarettes were found yesterday, on the border with Romania by border guards of the Mukachevo detachment together with customs officers.
A 45-year-old Ukrainian, on his way out of Ukraine through the checkpoint "Dyakove", hid contraband cigarettes in the double bottom of his 1998 Mercedes minibus.
The cigarettes worth more than 80,000 hryvnias and the minibus valued at more than 210,000 hryvnias were confiscated from the man.
