Today, a truck "DAF" with foreign registration driven by a Polish citizen arrived at the customs control area of the checkpoint "Dyakovo" of the Transcarpathian customs office to leave Ukraine, the SFS in Transcarpathian region informs.
The citizen chose the "red corridor" for customs clearance. During the oral survey, the foreigner said that he was carrying nothing forbidden to export from the customs territory of Ukraine and concealed from customs control.
But customs officials did not believe him and performed an in-depth inspection, during which they found tobacco products concealed from customs control with excise stamps of Ukraine in total amount of 7210 packs, including 4560 packs of "NZ Gold Super Slims" and 2650 packs of "NZ Blak Super Slims". The cigarettes were hidden in the fuel tank of the vehicle.
Thus, the citizen of Poland tried to move across the customs border of Ukraine the goods concealed from customs control. These actions have signs of violation of customs regulations referred to in Part 1 of Article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. On the basis of Art. 511 of the Customs Code of Ukraine, a report on violation of customs rules was made, the car worth nearly 400,000 UAH and the cigarettes worth nearly 117,000 UAH were seized.
