Border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment during joint patrolling with Hungarian colleagues prevented smuggling of cigarettes

  State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues active cooperation with their European counterparts to identify and counteract illegal activities at the border. Thus, yesterday, on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border, during joint patrolling, border guards of the department "Luzhanka" and Hungarian border guards found 12 packages of tobacco products which were wrapped in black plastic bags. These packages contained 12,000 packs of smuggled cigarettes prepared to be delivered to the EU.

The tobacco poducts found during joint patrolling were taken to the Department of Border Guard Service "Luzhanka."
