Last night, at the checkpoint "Tisa", border guards detained a citizen of Ukraine for illegal movement of cigarettes. The offender hid 113 packs of cigarettes "L&M" "LOFT Blue" (producer – "Philip Morris Ukraine" JSC, the country of production – Ukraine) in the fuel tank of his car.
Together with customs officers, border guards conducted an in-depth inspection of the car, because they had doubts about this car and it gave results. To found cigarettes, they had to dismantle the fuel tank and disconnect a special plate that was covering the opening of the cache.
The car "Opel Astra F ¼ Caravan" with Hungarian license plates and the cigarettes were seized. The total value of the property seized is 125,000 UAH.
