Last night, a citizen of Hungary in a car "Volkswagen" arrived at the checkpoint "Tisa" of the Chop border guard detachment with the aim to leave Ukraine. During the border control, border guards found out that this man was wanted by the Interpol. The man is accused of a crime under Art. 353 of the Criminal Code of Hungary, namely smuggling of migrants. Also, he violated the rules of stay in our country by exceeding the maximum allowed period of stay.
The man was detained for further extradition to Hungary. There, he will be brought to criminal responsibility.
