Border guards continue to carry out control at the Transcarpathian passes

Border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment continue to carry out joint control measures at Volovets, Yabluniv and Torun passes.

Thus, under the decision of the detachment management and as part of the border control operation "Frontier 2015", at the joint control posts "Nyzhni Vorota", "Soymy" and "Yasinya", officers of the Mukachevo border guard detachment together with other interacting security services are carrying out control and security measures to prevent movement of prohibited goods, vehicles and persons who may be involved in illegal activity at the border.

The results of such measures are: the detention of 25 illegal migrants, more than 100 rounds of 7.62 mm, two firearms, 11 g of cannabis, 170 boxes of cigarettes without excise and a vehicle without the proper documents for operation.
