Border guards call to compete for the “Emerald Lyre”

The Press Service of the Chop border guard detachment announced the Annual Art Competition "Emerald Lyre." "For decades, hundreds of works of literature, art and journalism on border service topics have depicted service and the life of state borders guards" – the announcement states.

Winners of the competition, the results of which will be determined on the eve of the Day of border guards in May 2014, in their respective categories will be awarded with diplomas, cash prizes and commemorative award the "Emerald Lyre" for the creation of artistic works in various genres of literature and art, published in the media or separately, covering the life, service and spiritual world of border guards.

The prize is awarded in the following categories:

"Fiction";

"Music";

"Visual Arts";

"Journalism";

"Cultural – voluntary assistance."

Also the winners in the categories "Film", "Theater", "Choreography" will be determined
