Border guard dog found weapons

A starting gun with twelve rounds was found on Saturday night at the checkpoint "Uzhgorod", the press service of the Chop border guard detachment informed today. During the regular training, which dog handlers usually carry out at the checkpoints, a sniffer dog "avoided" the class and moved in a different direction. The instructor noticed this unusual behavior of his dig, who was actively pointing at garbage cans. So, by the decision of the senior officer, the content of the containers was inspected. As it turned out later, the dog smelled a "Zoraki" gun with noise and "rubber" cartridges in a plastic bag. Most likely, one of the travelers threw it out noticing that law enforcement were thoroughly inspecting vehicles. The officers of the National Police were called at the scene and they seized the weapons.
