Boguslavsky: we were not carrying any weapons to the “Crown”

At a press conference in Uzhgorod, deputy of Uzhgorod city council Roman Boguslavsky, a participant of yesterday’s conflict on the territory of the "Cronw", stresses: the worst thing about the incident is not even the fight or shooting, nor gunshoot wounds or unauthorized search, but obstruction to deputy’s activity.

He says that he came to the complex to prevent the illegal destruction of architectural monument and met violent response.

Another participant of the conflict, who was operated for gunshoot wounds yesterday, Yevhen Rakhimov, said: "The police must properly respond to this incident, because if not punished, the person, who used the weapon, will think that they can walk around the city and shoot people."

Roman Boguslavsky took the opportunity to address to law enforcement officers: "You have to investigate the case and it bring to a logical conclusion."

Answering journalists’ questions, Roman and Yevhen stressed that they were carrying no weapons. Lawyer Natalia Maystrenko also assumed that in future there may be provocations against Rakhimov and Boguslavsky inspired by the actual initiator of the conflict, the person who made the shots – Ivan Voloshin.
