“Black loggers” were caught in Transcarpathian region (PHOTOS)

"Black loggers", who were cutting down trees in a natural reserve fund, were caught in Transcarpathian region. This was informed by the press service of the Transcarpathian Forestry and Hunting Range Administration.

On November 9, 2017, workers of the forest protection department of the Dovhe Forestry Enterprise and officers of the Irshava police department, during a raid, caught violators, who were cutting down trees for heating, using a special equipment.

The violation was committed in the Rika Forestry on the territory of the nature reserve fund.

After the police received a report from the forestry enterprise, the operational team immediately went to the forest. The amount of damage is currently being established. The physical evidence proved the unlawful actions of the offenders and was seized.
