Bike ride “Embroidered Path”, which has started in Uzhgorod, will symbolically unite East and West of Ukraine

The nationwide bike ride "Embroidered Path" has started in Uzhgorod, from Teatralna Square.

26 cyclists left from Uzhgorod to Kyiv, about ten more Transcarpathians will join them on the way.

According to the organizers, the cyclists will make stops in Lviv, Pochayiv, Kremenets, Ostroh, Zhytomyr, Radomyshl, where the number of participants will increase. The first overnight will take place in the castle of Saint Miklos in the village of Chynadiyevo in Mukachevo district.

During 18 days, the participants will be discovering uncharted Ukraine, visiting many interesting sights and beautiful places. The group will finish on June 28 in Kyiv on Maidan Nezalezhnosti, where they will meet with the cyclists, who will have travelled the other half of the route – from Kharkiv to Kyiv.

The "Embroidered Path" is a nationwide social tourism project, which aims to discover unexplored tourist potential of Ukraine and symbolically unite East and West of Ukraine with a biking trail stretching over 2000 km.
